A few interesting elements that might keep you playing for a while Hence, there’s always something exciting to hunt, not to mention the fact that you can also use dragons or a pegasus to fly and move a lot quicker than on the ground. In essence, it’s a lot like collecting Pokemon, because almost every monster you happen to bump into can be tamed and used as a mount. One of these is beast taming, and the game banks a lot on this feature. There are, however, other interesting things you can fill your time with. Regardless of what you choose, however, it’s worth noting that there’s nothing exciting here, only mindless button mashing/clicking, which is a bit of a bummer. When it comes to combat, you can choose between the classic hotkey-powered style, or you can opt for a much quicker and natural style involving the mouse only. Granted, there’s nothing very original in this regard, so don’t expect to be blown away in any way. Whether you want to be in the heart of each battle and play as a berserker, or you prefer to keep your distance and strike from afar, the game should accommodate every style. You start by choosing a class from a couple of available ones, and they each have a different roles in the game and in combat. However, most of the gameplay is more or less the same, so it should be fairly easy for anyone to get into it from the first few minutes. Its formula is very close to the classics such as WoW or Lineage, but there are a few key differences that should stick out and attract a few curious eyes. Riders of Icarus is an action-oriented MMORPG that aims to provide the fans of the genre with new ways to farm and collect rare items. Choose a class and customize your character Free-to-play alternatives are a nice solution, but most of them suffer from a lack of depth and content. Blizzard has piles of cash it can throw at its game to keep it fresh and working flawlessly, while everyone else has to really impress in order to attract a decent player base and continue to operate. Hence the "On a serious note" which implies my previous comment was a joke. It’s tough to compete in the same category as World of Warcraft, and it has been like this for over a decade now. I wont be nice about this, because I wasnt actually sarcastic in my post, it was a joke. The most a person can do is simply disagree.Īs for the "sarcasm"? Sorry that triggered you. Nobody can deny this, nor can they tell this person they are wrong. This is a personal thought, as someone could easily claim "I have pictures" which to them is worth saving and going through the headache to save their current setup. Being that I personally can strip my system and have it up and running again within the install time (this isnt windows 95 anymore). However, the "average" pc user, doesnt have ANYTHING on their PC thats actually worth saving in the case of a virus. Thank you for responding, but no thank you for the sarcasm. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't going to screw my computer. I've played many games on Nexon and this has never happened before.
